The majority of the paintings displayed in the website have been purchased either directly from the artists themselves with whom I have formed a personal relationship, or through various galleries in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya - and are now in the U.S.A. for quick delivery.
It's our goal to keep the website fluid, topical, and on the pulse of the contemporary original African paintings scene. As well, I want to ensure that the artists themselves are reaping the benefits of world-wide exposure and promotion. I have instant access to many of the artists in Kenya allowing me to keep refreshing the website with new paintings!

11 Sept '08	In a flurry of activity we have just added a large and incredible Lion Pride painting by David Michuki! As well, we have added two more paintings by Michuki's brother Wycliffe Ndwiga. What an incredibly talented family (not to mention the third brother Daniel Njoroge!)

3 Mar '08	In a flurry of activity, I have just added four NEW paintings by Omari Idi - and ornithologists delight! Also, one painting by the Banana Hill artist Julius Kimemia - in the style of Alex Mbugua and Jeff Wambugu.
2 Mar '08	IAA is proud to introduce NEW ARTIST Jeff Wambugu - brother to the late Alex Mbugua. Similar ethereal styles, both wonderful artists. That said, I managed to find one (probably last) painting by Mbugua.
